In this 1-day course, we will demonstrate the basics and most used features in NVivo for Windows. You will learn how to create your own NVivo project, and how to import text and PDF files. Furthermore, we show how to code, write memos and attach annotations to your data.
After the course, you will know how to manoeuvre in the NVivo interface, organize your project and manage your codes. You will also learn how to save and back-up your project file and how to export a codebook. We will show you different coding techniques, how to refine your coding structure and how to review the coded references. Furthermore, we will introduce cases and classifications as vital part of your project set-up. Finally, you will learn how to explore your data by using diagrams and lexical queries.
During this course, you will be able to ask questions and get answers from our NVivo trainer.
Participate in our 1-day online course for NVivo, from your own office. All you need is a computer with internet access and audio to participate! This course is conducted in English with the latest version NVivo 14 for Windows , but will also fits users of NVivo R1/2020. The training is not suited for users of NVivo 12 for Mac. Requirements
The participants will need a computer with access to the internet as well as an audio device and microphone to attend. We use GoToWebinar/GoToMeeting for the sessions (click here for system check). To practice on your own you will need to download and install NVivo for Windows on your computer, using either an individual license, your institute´s license, or the free 30-day trial license.
